This is a long-lasting makeup, makeup that won’t wash off, micropigmentation, semi-permanent & more... As you can see there are many names that cover this procedure. It all means the same thing, that is, Tattooing – and it is permanent.
A small hand-held machine with totally disposable parts are used to implant coloured pigments below the skin’s surface into the Dermis where it will stay for many years if proper care is taken by you at home.
The tattoo will last for years though it will fade slightly especially if you have a very light colour implanted. A colour refresh is recommended though not always necessary to keep the colour looking good. The lighter the colour implanted the quicker it will fade. Sunlight and general ageing also affect this process.
It isn’t painful as specialised numbing lotions are used throughout the treatment to make it as comfortable as possible.
The time is takes for each procedure depends on the work to be done and the client. Part of the appointed time is for the filling out of forms and photographs etc.
The tattoo will look great immediately, somewhat darker at the start and a few days later you will get what is sometimes termed a “roll off” where the upper layer will peel away after it has healed. This is hardly noticeable in most cases and you can go about your work while it’s healing.
