Hand and Foot Care
We are able to customise your hand and foot care services depending on what you need. Perhaps you only need a polish application or a tear in your fingernail or toenails repaired – ask us and we’ll work it out for you. If you don’t want your toenail polish smudging each time you wear shoes then ask for our very popular Bio Sculpture Gel toenail services.
Manicure
A manicure is where we shorten your nails either with a nail file or clippers and then we smooth the edges. Cuticles are then gently pushed back and excess non-living tissue is safely removed. The surfaces of the nails are then buffed to a high stain-resistant shine and then oiled with our professional ‘Creative’ Solar Oil to condition the cuticles and the nail plate. Hands and nails are then soaked and cleaned followed by a soothing and relaxing hand and arm massage. Base coat, colour then sealer may then be applied.
If your nails are extremely dry then I suggest you leave all forms of polish – even base coat – off your nails and continue to condition them with our ‘Creative’ Solar oil and Advanced Natural Hand and Nail Balm.
Pedicure
The structures of toenails are similar to fingernails but often are extremely neglected resulting in discoloured and coarse rough surfaces. The soles of the feet can become thickened, cracked and dirty if not maintained properly.
The procedure is similar to a manicure though we soak feet in scented waters prior to the service. A massage of the feet and lower leg is a vital component of foot care and is often overlooked but when you consider what our feet do for us and how much weight and stress they carry on a daily basis then you’ll realise how essential it is. Once you have experienced a professional foot massage you’ll be begging for more.
Paraffin Spray – this is a luxury heat treatment to aid in the repair of cracked cuticles and dry skin. It also conditions the nails and eases aches and pains. Weekly sessions will definitely make a huge improvement.
Aroma Mask – this treatment refines, refreshes and hydrates the skin.
Micronized Marine Algae detoxifying treatment 45 minutes
(This can be a stand-alone treatment or combined with any foot care service. It has incredible cleansing powers and is wonderful for treating foot odours).
